Making the eastside the best community in central Indiana from Irvington to Cumberland

Public safety is vital for quality neighborhoods. While the Community Liaison for the Indianapolis Police Department North District, Ben refined and implemented a better communication alert system for residents. He will:

• Work with the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department, and the Cumberland Police Department to implement a web based Crime Watch Alert system for neighborhood residents in Warren Township.
• Constantly review budget items to see where additional revenue should be spent on Public Safety initiatives.
• Fight to expand the lack of police coverage given to the Eastside of Indianapolis.
• Support both the Indianapolis Fire Department and the Warren Township Fire Departments. Carefully exam the issues of Fire Consolidation.
• Review and hold government accountable for early releases; while encouraging city and county officials to really address our long term funding liabilities in this area.
