Achievements & Accomplishments

• 1994 - 1996, Served as Co-Chair to the Indiana Campus Compact Advisory Board, and assisted in the formation of ICC in Indiana. An article from 2003 highlights Ben's commitment to Community Service.
• 1994, Recipient the Indiana University Purdue University "Spirit of Philanthropy Award," for outstanding contributions to community service.
• 1994 - 1998, Worked for the Indiana University Police Department at IUPUI. While attending college, served as Vice-President of the Student Government.
• 1998 - Present, Sergeant with the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department
• 2001, Named North District "Officer of the Year."
• 2001, Received the Police-Fire-Sheriff "Community Service" officer of the year.
• 2001, IPD Medal of Bravery
• 2001, Principal of M&H PCI, a private consulting company.
• 2004-Present, Member of Advisory Board to the Indiana Partnership to Prevent Violent Injury and Death.
• 2004, Received the Butler-Tarkingon Neighborhood Association "Community Service Award."
